Women Dutch Open

August 11, 2017

Ready for my next challenge! I was two and out in the open division, but it was good practice before my main event tomorrow. I play Ana Gradisnik at 0900 and I will try my best to perform well. We have a full field of 64 players, which promise good for the tour future, but means busy days:)

My new cue has arrived!

July 18, 2017

Finally! I have waited for this cue for a long time. This was my birthday present (my birthday was in january) and I am super excited to finally have it!

Actually there are two new cues, the playing cue that is a OB RB-1 limited edition (only 100 made) and the OB Rift in Black. I love my new set of cues and I have been practicing diligently every day and will continue to do so until I leave for 3 weeks of European Championships and Euro tour in the beginning of august.

I feel very lucky and humbled to say that I get the best from the best, alongside OB Cues I have KAMUI that provides me with the best accessories I could think of. The Digicue is a great training device and paired with the Kamui Diamond Slicer on my Dynamic Table, I get the best preparation I can possibly get for my tournaments and also for my personal improvement.

I will keep posting throughout the EC youth, you will see Kamui on every Team Norway player! I will introduce them to you when I am in Leende, and keep you posted on their development in the tournament. I am there on behalf of the EPBF during the EC Youth, but I will keep an eye on my young Team Mates:)

After the EC Youth we have an Eurotour and then it is the EC Seniors & Ladies where I will play in the Ladies event for the first time.

Exciting three weeks ahead! Hopefully they result in medals both for the Youth and us oldies:)

Please let me know if I can provide you with anything or something from Kamui and OB Cues! If there is something I do not have in stock, I will get it for you:)

Thanks for reading!

PS; check out the new video from Kamui

Also check out the KAMUI website and the OB Cues website! And mine off course, remember to send me an email if you want to order something or have questions.

Tomorrow morning I leave for the third eurotour stop in St Johann Im Pongau in Austria. The venue and hotel, Sportshotel Alpina, is superb and I am really looking forward to visit them again. I start to play saturday morning, the draw will be ready tomorrow afternoon. My teammates Mats Schjetne and Thomas Fjæran are already there and play today at 1330.

I am really looking forward to play, I have spent the last weeks practicing on my Dynamic table with the Tournament balls. Since we have 1 on spot on the break in Norway, I have focused on my break shot and I think I finally found a consistent way of hitting the balls with 9 on the spot. The break shot is one of the most important shots in 9-ball and this break requires a very different hit than with 1 on the spot so it really needs to be practiced.

If you want to follow the tournament you find all information and draw / livescore on the womeneurotouronline.com

Ardennen Cup 2014

June 10, 2014

Ardennen Cup is a great tournament, but this year it was hot hot hot!! I felt like I was playing in a sauna at times, sweat running and cheeks red. But we had fun:)

In Womens Eurotour tournament I ended up 33rd, just outside the single elimination. I really struggled in the heat and I fell short. I lost my first match against Christine Feldmann ( SUI) 2-5. missing all the important shots and she did not. Next match against Ortenzia Haefliger (SUI) was better, I remembered to play safe instead of missing the difficult key shots:) I won 5-1. Against Marketa Mlejnkova (CZE) I played better again and won 5-3. Then it was time for the LQ and now Christien Wiechert (GER) was my opponent. I started to play really good, just to mess it up in the end. I just got out of position on the last ball or the 8-ball time and time again and Christine played very well. She won 5-1. The simply made the ultimate sin in 8-ball, clear the table and solve all the problems before I let my opponent back on the table:(

Ina Kaplan (GER) won the tournament, Caroline Roos (SWE) was the runner up and Jasmin Michel (GER) and Nahtalie Seichter (NED) came third. Well done all!

June and I found a team mate for the teams, Tim J La Fazia II from US. We had great fun and won a few matches. The ultimate win was against Team ABC:) Tim won the 10-ball against Jörgen Sandman, June won the 9-ball against Elkhem Eisajan and I got my ass kicked in 8-ball by Mats Schjetne. 2-1 for My Team-:,0) Wohoo! Thanks guys for all the fun.

Here are some pictures of Jörgen with a cue! This is not something you see every day:) Sitting in the back is Mats and Kristina Grim (GER)

Mats did a great job in the main tournament. He finished 5th, loosing 5-6 in the QF. Well done!

Thanks Team ABC for all the support and fun these last few days. Also thanks to Marc Meyer, Nahtalie Meyer-Venneker and all you guys making food and working for us.

And last but not least, thanks to the Swedish (and Austrian) girls for all the good laughs!

Now it is time for some last work before my vacation starts. Looking forward to that. I am not sure what my next tournament will be. Bergen Open is in august but i have not yet decided if I will play or not. Players like Efren Reyes and Niels Feijen will be there so it will be a good tournament, we will see what happens:)

2014-Ardennen-Cup-Poster

Just a few days left before I leave for Luxembourg. Even though 8-ball is not my favorite game, this tournament is one of the most enjoyable ones:) I start friday playing in the mens division, then again saturday to play teams ( if I have enough time, I am going to work a little) and Sunday is the start of the womens division. This is the important one off course, our tournament is a Womens Eurotour and therefor a ranking tournament.

We are over 80 participants in the womens division so far, this will be fun:) Total entries in women, men, junior, pupil, and girls division is 545! (some play two ore more divisions but still:)) And then there are 128 teams consisting of three people each. This is a BIG event!

You can find information about all divisions and tournaments during the Ardennen Cup here: http://www.ardennen-cup.lu/

Eurotourwomenonline.eu will provide draw and results when the Eurotour starts as usual.

Wish me luck!
