25th in Amway and 9th in Portugal

I will upload pictures later to this post, I just wanted to let you know how I did in the two tournaments.
In Amway Cup I played really good, but Liu Sasha and Chou was too good in Amway. I beat Kawahara 7-2, but then she beat both Chou and Liu and my chances of going through the group was gone.. Tough luck, but atleast I held om to the 25th and $500 payout.
In Portugal I played really well ( 8-ball) the first day, and then the cold got to me. It was so cold in the venue we were shaking when we were on teh table. Anyway, I ended 9th after loosing for Louise Furbderg ( SWE) and it is good points towards the ranking. It is ok:)

Amway update

Lost my first 7-0. Liu Sha-Sha did not make a mistake and broke and ran 4 racks. Winner breaks is difficult when you play players like that. Won my second 7-2 (kawahara from japan) and played really good:) Still alive:) Last match of the day is against Chou on the tv table. She is ranked no 1, just have to keep my game together.

Venue
In 30 minutes the amway cup begins. My first match is against former world champion Liu Sha-Sha (chn) We play winner breaks race to seven in the round
robin stage. It will be a busy day with three matches today, on being on the tv table.
I struggle with the internett, but I will try to update during the day.

It has been a long time since I was in Taiwan, but today the flight leaves and I will be there tomorrow evening. I am really looking forward to play the Amway Cup, it is one of the best tournaments in Asia. We are 40 players in 8 groups and 3 from each group will advance to the single elimination.

Ready for tournament tomorrow

Tomorrow morning I will drive to Haugesund to play a straightpool tournament that counts towards the Norwegian ranking. I feel ready:) I have a table in my poolhall that is exactly the same as they have in the venue so I stopped by the poolhall and got the feel of the rails. I think that will help me tomorrow. It is a 2 hour drive, but I like driving so that will be ok.
