That’s it
November 5, 2015
What a day. I really didn’t play bad, I just got beaten. That’s it. My second match was againsr Wu Jing ( CHN ) and even though the score 2-7 does not say the whole truth, I got beaten.
Now I am going to watch great pool and be a tourist for a few days. Sadly Line is also done, along with several top players from Europe like Caroline Roos, Sandra Baumgartner and Ana Mazhirina. The conditions makes problem for a lot of people.
I will post some more pictures when I come home, internett is a little shaky here.

Women’s 9-ball World Championships 2015
October 31, 2015
I am now sitting in Amsterdam waiting for my flight to Beijing. From Beijing I go to Guilin which is the host city for this great event. Guilin is a beautiful city and last year I was lucky to see quite a lot of the scenery from spectacular mountains to colorful caves:) This year I hope to see some more of the area while I turr the hours around.
I have no idea if I will be connected to wordpress or facebook during my time in China so here is some information for you:
Stage two starts on thursday and the draw will be done on wednesday. If I am not online you will find all information about the tournament on alison-chang.com. She will post links to draw, livescore and livestreams and so will I if I can:)
Just in case I am not able to do so during the tournament I would like to thank OB cues for my great equipment and also Fury for the long and steady support. The Norwegian Billiard Federation also needs a thanks, without their support it would have been difficult to make such many and long travels during the year. The support is important to me and means a lot.
I will do my absolute best and hope for a great tournament.  There will be many great players, including my fellow Norwegian Line Kjørsvik who I am really looking forward to seeing again:) Good luck to everybody, especially all the Europeans. I will see you guys soon!
Onward and upwards!

Here we go!
October 23, 2015
The CBSA cloth is ready, the new cueball has arrived, visa is ok, flights and hotel booked… The 2015 Women’s World 9-Ball Championship is closing in!
I will spend my last week doing drills on the table and play a lot. The cloth behaves different from my normal cloth and so do the balls. Also the change in color needs a little getting used to:)
But I am so happy to have this opportunity to practice with the cloth and balls before I come to China. There are so many elements that affect your game while you are there, so elimination of variables is very important.
I will arrive in Guilin three days before the tournament starts so the jet-lag will be fixed by then. I will spend those days practicing if possible and just enjoy the scenery. Guilin is a very beautiful place and there are plenty of things to see.
If I have access to wordpress and facebook you will get updates from me, if not you will find all information alison-chang.com. My good friend Alison always gets the information out somehow, thank you Alison:)

Norwegian Women’s Champion 10-ball
September 28, 2015

Last 4 in both divisions. (Almost, missing Kendall Kibsgård on third)    From the left: Steffen Wolff, Christel Johnsen, Mats Schjetne, myself, Kenneth Rognstad, Arnhild Eiken and Kristoffer Mindrebøe. Picture borrowed form Oslo Biljardklubb:)
So, I won the women’s championship. It was a long weekend because I played in both events, but at least i brought home the third trophy this year. One more to go in November as the 9-ball championships come up:) In the round robin I won 6-1 Nitusha Lion (UNI), 6-1 Arnhild Eiken (HYL) then 6-3 in the quarterfinal against June HÃ¥ndstad (TSI), 6-0 in the semifinal against Arnhild Eiken (HYL) og 6-2 in the final against Christel Johnsen. My game got better as I closed in on the final and it felt ok. I am looking forward to the Nordic 10-ball Championships in three weeks!
In the open division I ended on 33rd place and I am a bit disappointed with my own game. That said it is always difficult to play two tournaments at the same time so I just have to learn from my mistakes and hopefully eliminate them before the 9-ball championships.
Congratulations to all the medal winners in both divisions, and thank you Oslo Biljardklubb and Jan Terje Øyen.
Thanks for reading!
