Puhh… Everything happens at once:)
August 30, 2014
Portoroz ended after a loss against Ana Mazhirina and then Natalia Serosthan, both from Russia. I was so disappointed… They played really well but I did not. I fought with all I had, but my rhythm was just off. Very sad after playing so good my first two matches. That’s pool for you, I ended up in 9th place. Too many things going on in my life I think, it makes it a little difficult to focus over time.
Anyway, my week after I got home has been very busy. I have been planning the Treviso tournament, Nordic Championships, Norwegian Championships in Bergen and today I also got confirmation that I have a spot to the World Championships 9-ball in Guilin China! In other words, the next few months will also be busy busy busy:)
First I am off to Bergen friday to play the Norwegian Championships (Open) in 10-ball. After that my practice schedule towards the Nordic Championships and WC 9-ball will be tight:) Wish me luck! I will post the link to the draw in Bergen when it is done:)

New cue, just in time for the Eurotour in Portoroz!
August 20, 2014
The summer ended with a bang! My new cue form OB Cues just arrived and friday I am on my way to Portoroz to play the Eurotour for women. The new cue is really good. The new shaft (OB-2+) is a little different from the old one, I will write more about that after the tournament. I like it!
From now on there is no more vacation. The tournaments are coming rapidly the next few months. It will be good, I like being busy. But first, Slovenia!

Exiting news from OB Cues!
June 16, 2014
- The original laminated SR6 construction that we have used for the last 9 years has now been changed to a solid maple SR6+ construction.
- All new OB Plus Shafts will come with a 100% lifetime warranty against warpage!
- The tip end mass in the new shafts has been reduced by an average of 13%. Less tip end mass is the primary key to less cueball deflection. You reduce the tip end mass and you reduce cueball deflection.
- The carbon fiber pad and ferrule have been redesigned for improved strength and performance. The pad on the Classic+ and Pro+ shafts is now recessed into the top of the ferrule. The ferrule material on the Classic+ and Pro+ shafts is now Linen Melamine which is even stronger than before.
- The maple that we are using on all of the new shafts is a higher grade that looks better and feels smoother.”
