Today is a day for preparing. I have now booked my flights to Helsinki in august to play the Womens Finnish 10-ball open and announced for Ardennen cup in june.  I like days like this, I can feel the thrill of the tournament already. I can not wait to play!!

I guess that with my friend Line playing in Beijing Open and Olav playing the junior championships in Lillehammer, I needed to do something aswell:) I do not get enough tournaments now, I have my local clubtournaments once a week and a big ranking tournament coming up in the end of may. At least now I have something to look forward to:)

I wish my friends the best of luck. You kan follow Olav and Line on on their blogs or at biljardforbundet.no on the forum.

Have a great weekend! Mine will consist of fitting a pooltable tomorrow together with my husbond and sunday I will be back in the poolhall. Hope for some more sun in between jobs:)

Stavanger FURY cup

April 15, 2011

So, tomorrow it is time for the Fury cup again. Both me and my husbond will play and I am the tournament director aswell. The cup consists of four tournaments over the year and the finishing top eight after four tournaments will have the opportunity to play a final tournament with quite good prizes.

We start at 12:00 and so far we are 17 people playing. If anyone wants to join you need to come at 11:30 sharp:) Thats when I open the poolhall.

The event will be streamed here: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/billard-tv-live-from-stavanger

Offcourse I will let you know how I am doing. This being a handicap tournament it is quite hard competition, but winning is the goal:)

Have fun tonight!

Ine:)

I am back home and look back on a terrific EC. I did not do as good as I hoped, but 9th in 8-ball, 17th in Straight pool and 9-ball is not so bad after all. 10-ball I ended on 25th, not to happy with that.

The closing ceremony was great, we had an awesome live band and good food. It was a good ending of a good championship. In the mens division there was 16 different people taking medals ogf 16 possible. The standard of play is getting very high.

Live broadcast on Eurosport was also something new and exciting. I hope this will go even further and allow the womens final to be shown aswell. Next year in Luxembourg maybe?

I want to thank the team for a terrific week. All players have done an incredible job on and off the table and more medals will come, I am sure. Thank you Monica for getting my 10-ball break back into place:)

Good luck to Line, Monica, Jasmin, Ina and Marika in the Phillipine open! I am happy I will stay at home for a while:) Next tournament is in a few weeks here in Stavanger.

All the best

Day six part one:)

March 28, 2011

9-ball have started but I do not have any matches today. All I have to do is write protocols for the others and watch their matches which I like to do. So far Mats Schjetne beat Petroni and Martine, Kristoffer and Mats are still on the winner side. Malvin, Steffen and Mikael are on the looser side but still in. Line and I have wo and play tomorrow morning. That is, Line play qf and hopefully sf and final in 8-ball today.

Go Norway!

I will let you how she does later tonight

Have a good day!
Ine:)
