First stop in 2015 is Verona,  Italy. We play in a poolhall this time, Orsi Sala Billiardi. I am meeting up with Kjersti Nordås in Frankfurt and then we fly directly to Verona.

I am really looking forward to this, I will try my best to play well and keep fighting to the end:) This time I also have support from my federation, thank you:)

I was hoping for a double win this weekend, but I pretty soon realized that today I had a problem. My back has been acting up and I have to be very happy I was in the final at all. I could have lost all matches I played today, but I managed to win three out of five so I am happy overall. I played against Trond Larsen in the final today also, we now share the top of the ranking with one win and one second each:) Congrats Trond!

Next tournament is Eurotour in Verona, Italy 7-8 march. Look forward to that:)

It has been a long day, but it is all worth it! I won the first ranking tournament. This one was extra sweet, I played against Trond Larsen in the final. He used to be a top norwegian elite player, and my coach for a period of time:) I was able to pull out my best game when it mattered the most and I won 5 games in a row for the victory. Played really solid:)

Tomorrow it is time for ranking event number two and we play 9-ball.

This weekend the first two regional ranking tournaments will be held in my poolhall, by my club Svithun Biljardklubb. Saturday we play 8-ball with round robin stage 1 and single elimination from quarterfinals. After this tournament we will do the draw for saturday when we play 9-ball in a double elimination with single elimination from last 8 format. The reason for the late draw and change of format is that we are one two many players on sunday and we use saturdays ranking to seed for the 9-ball. My group consists of Trond Larsen (MIL), Jone Ree Skjelbred (SVI) and Nils Eintveit (SVI) in addition to myself. My goal for these two tournaments are to win them both, I have started the preparation and I will do my very best to stay focused:)

After a long weekend playing both in the open and women’s division I am now Norwegian champion 8-ball women, undefeated through the tournament. In the open division I lost my match to qualify for the last 32 to my teammate Fredrik Førde and ended 33 out of 93. It has been a good poolweekend and Oslo Biljardklubb have done a great job with the event. Thank you!
