I was going to wait until after the tournament to let you know that my grandmother passed away, but I  decided it is better for me to say ut out loud. My dear grandmother passed away yesterday. She fell asleep without any pain, aged 91. She was one of the most important people in my life and she has always been proud of me and supported me. I grew up with her and she has influenced my life heavily. I am so fortunate to have had such a great, strong and kind person in my life and I  will cherish her forever and do my best to make her proud in heaven.

I will post from the tournament when I  feel ready to do so. Please follow alison-chang.com for results and information the next few days,  she will cover everything brilliantly as always.

Cyclop balls it is. So now we are up to three different ballsets in use in tournaments in a month. Sometimes I envy snooker with their predictable tournament conditions, but nothing to do with that. All I can do is to pepare as good as I possibly can and on the brigth side at least I have the Cyclop balls, similar cloth and a similar table as we use in Taiwan. Not all players are that privileged.

The main tournament starts thursday 16th and I will post links to the draw and all information before that.

Could not find my game this morning, so ninth it is. I was defending a third so I am going to take a drop on the rankings, but thats life. Taiwan an Amway cup next. Onwards and upwards!

Oh well. I lost 7-4 but I  played better overall in this match. Kristina Tkach awaits tomorrow at nine. Onwards and upwards, looser qualification next:)

I have won both my matches today (Megan Rademakers 7-5 and Kateryna Polovinchuk 7-3) but I have a long way to go before I play my best. Hopefully I can pull it out during the winners qualification against Kristina Grim (Ger). We play at 20 tonight.
