Next week I am off to luxemburg again. The Ardennen cup is a huge event with more than 400 players from all over Europe. The womens division has close to 80 players and the mens over 300. To top it of there is a team comp with 128 teams and also juniors, pupils and girls… I am playing mens division and team on friday, have saturday off and the womens division on sunday and hopefully monday:) There are three of us going from my club, Jone Ree Skjelbred and Fredrik Førde will join me. And Martine Christiansen is coming from Sweden to play so actually we are four:).

This is a really well organized event and this year we have a brand new venue, the Deichalle in Ettelbrück. This is a tennishall and it will have 26 tables for this event.

Hopefully I will do well, this is a tournament that counts towards the european ranking where I am 9th at the moment. You can find that here.

It will be good with a break from my exam preparation, I am reading about the taxlaws and how to calculate the taxes… Can get a bit boring:)

Tomorrow I go to Haugesund And Tre Måker poolclub to play ranking torunament no 4 in division 1. We are two from my club and the disipline is 14-1 ( straight pool) Should be fun, will let you know how I do.

So far I have won two out of the three tournaments and got third in the last one. I am leading on the ranking, hope to keep it that way:)

I ended on thirdplace in the torunament, I played ok, not great. Still, I top the ranking, you can find that here.

Tomorrow we start the new round of Stavanger Fury Cup. This is a handicap tournament for all the players in our region whatever division they play in. So far we are 13 participants, I guess we will be around 15 tomorrow. I will let you know how I do during the day.

We lost the finals Line and I. We lost on the shoot-out, but at least we made it exciting:) I am quite happy with silver, I don’t think anyone had anticipated that after us loosing big time in our first team match.

I will try to upload the pictures I have within a few days, I just need to take a day or two off first:)

Line and I won the semifinal against Austria on the Shoot-out!! We are playing the finals tomorrow at 14:00. Line will play semifinals and then finals in 9-ball first. Yuhuu!!!
