Here we go again…. Cyclop it is:)
September 21, 2014
China and the World Championships 9-ball is coming up in a month and that means that the Cyclop balls are back on the table. From now on and until the tournament these are the only balls I practice with. They are different from the Super Aramith Pro that we use in all tournaments in Europe… So, baby blue it is:)
5th place in Nordic Championship
September 20, 2014
I lost 2-7 for Caroline Roos. She played solid and I did a few mistakes and had some bad rolls. She then went on to take my role in the next match and lost to Helena Benjamin. That’s pool for you.
In the end Louise Furberg wpn the women’s division.
Thank you Oslo Biljardsenter, Kurt Roos and the Nordic Federations for organising Nordic Championship again. I am already looking forward to next year:)

Ready for the quarterfinals
September 19, 2014
After a long day I am finally back in the hotel, ready for a good night’s sleep. My first match against Silje Munk (Den) lasted for 2,5 hours and I was down 0-3 and 1-4, but won 7-5 in the end:) Next opponent was Martine Christiansen (Nor) and that was a strange match which I lost 7-4 in the end. Last match of the day was against Ann-Sofie Løfgren (Swe) and that ended 7-3. Tomorrow at 11 the single elimination starts and I play against Caroline Roos (Swe)
Wish me luck and thanks for reading:)

Nordic 10-ball Championships
September 17, 2014
Tomorrow I go to Oslo to play the Nordic Championships. I am exited, this is the first Nordic Championship in many years. We have 24 spots in the womens division and 64 in the mens. I start to play 11:00 friday (The men start thursday). So far I do not have an opponent, we have 2 free spots, so I may get a wo and play my first at 13:00 against Silje Helene Munk from Denmark.
I will keep you posted during the weekend!
Have a great weekend!

Norwegian Championships 10-ball, 17th place
September 7, 2014
Back home from Bergen after a good weekend playing pool. There were 67 players in the event, three women and the rest men. I started with a 8-3 win over Thomas Stavang Pedersen (Oslo BK) Then I met our sportsdirector, Christian Johannesen (Oslo BK), and lost 4-8. I had a few shots in the beginning of the match were I did not execute the shot properly and Christian off course punished me for that. In the looser side I won my qualifying match 8-2 against Jan-Egil Johansen (Reisa). I was playing really solid and hope for an ok draw… but no:) I got Roger Rasmussen (Strømmen) and the balls just seemed to fly down one way or the other… I lost 4-8 and ended in 17th place. At least I got some points for the ranking and moved up a bit:)
All in all I have had a good poolweekend, playing solid most of the time. 19th of september I am going to Oslo to play Nordic Pool Championships and in october it is WC 9-ball. I am on route:)
Links to the draw, results and tournament ranking is HERE
Mats Schjetne (Ask Billiard Club) won the tournament, congratulations:) Christian Johannesen came second and Roger Rasmussen and Vegar Kristiansen (Stoppball) came third.
Thanks for reading:)
